Common Misconceptions of Students Wanting to be Professional Logo Designers

Many students graduating from high school have common misconceptions regarding a professional logo design career. For instance, many think that they need to know programming before stepping into web design, while, in reality, they only need to have an understanding of the programming. Students also think that they need to be exceptionally gifted artistically to make it as a professional designer, whereas, there are many other factors other than personal expression that make a design career such as client specifications, budget constraints, printing limitations etc. Students also have the perception of only succeeding in a design career if they are savvy with every new technology. Though, knowing AJAX, Flash, PHP, and CSS are recommended, others can be learnt after graduation.
