Russian Logo

Russian company logos represent their Russian origins and typically portray serious and “to the point” themes. Famous examples of Russian logos include Yukos, Roseneft, TNK-BP and Gazprom. All of these are in the oil sector and clearly amongst the ones with the largest exposure abroad.

The vast majority of Russian company logos have their company name written in Russian as their logo, although some like banks have symbols added alongside their company name. One thing that becomes quite clear from looking at a Russian company logo is their unique Russian identity which is crystal clear from their design. This is not just true for state owned companies but also for private ones like logos for banks, industry, and other service companies.

Russian companies are multi billion dollar MNCs in many cases and have enormous power, influence and prestige. Some in the West feel that the logos that these firms have aren’t really geared for B2C marketing and have more of an industrial look and feel. Of course this is hugely debatable and one cannot pass this judgment without thorough research.

Russian company logos usually are in one or two colors and rarely exceed three colors. The most common colors are red, blue and black. Many of these logo designs have animals as symbols.
