McDonald's Logo Review

The McDonalds fast food chain has become another term for fast food itself. McDonald's is one of the biggest fast food chains in the world. McDonald's Logo is recognized not only in the States where it was founded but all over the world. McDonald's Logo is also often said to have become a part of the American cultural imperialism. The golden arches within the looped M of the logo represent not only style but also a firm and strong corporate identity. These arches were actually structures on the sides of the initial hamburger stand of the man behind MacDonald. These structures form a side angle seem as the letter M and so when merged together they became a proper M letter and were added to the official logo.

The name McDonald was not added to the official logo till 1968. Even though the initial golden arches are no longer included in the McDonald architectural design, they have become a brand identity for the McDonald Corporation. As the idea of globalization has truly become a reality, all fast food companies want to expand their businesses abroad. Due to such tough competition, the standards for quality on which the success of the brand depends have risen by a long margin. Now the concerns for branding and products management are on their peaks and likewise only a trademark guarantees these standards. The McDonald's Logo design is a well recognized trademark and with its expansion through out the world, the McDonald's Logo does live up to its requirements.
