Open Eye, A New Image Design

Open University is one of the prolific institutes providing the highest level of education. The organization has also been very good at the promotional tasks and logo design parameters. The new Open University logo has been an instant success.  The logo design scheme is very unique and simple. We can observe that the overall image of the logo is very professional. No flashy images have been used by the designers to prevent unsuitability. The logo revolves around the letters that have been used as the abbreviation of the university O and U. The center part of the logo is O which is transparent in color. The background of the logo that surrounds the alphabet O is silver blue in color and forms the shape of the alphabet U. The combination therefore represents the letters OU meaning Open University. A lot of images have not been used in the logo as the level of simplicity has to be maintained. The background color that forms the U letter is given a shining effect. This looks very attractive with the silky blue shade. The level of appreciation that the OU logo has attained is extremely high. The logo has been a complete success and applying students have been greatly impressed.  As an overall statement we can say that the approach is new and quiet creative. This design structure has not been used previously for an educational organization. Even through the logo has a very sleek appearance, the shapes representing O and U are very apparent.
