There are various common mistakes that can appear in a logo designing process. If these mistakes occur then a logo design process gets spoilt completely. We have commonly seen clipart images being used by users for various purposes other than designing. Hence these images should not be included at all in the designing options. These images are a common occurrence and spoil the uniqueness of the logo completely. Special effects and animation do not add value to every logo. For some logos, the animation feature is not required and static representation is the required option. Other than that special effects like color merge and blending processes should only be used when required. The best color option is to use a single color process. Some designers think that making a logo in the shape of a banner is advantageous. However this is not always the condition. A banner designs confines the shape of a logo which is not a suitable option. Text is a very important part of a company logo. However a logo can not be designed simply by using text. Images are a very important part of a logo. Hence a successful logo is a combination of both text and images. Although there are various companies that have only text oriented logos but the option is not recommended at present when most logos are highly interactive. Company monograms should not be used as logos as they do not provide the design parameters required. Similarly complicated images and designs should be avoided for a professional logo.
