Taking Advice from “Non-Designers” on Professional Logo Designs

Advice from non designers may be helpful in some situations but in most cases, it is likely to be inaccurate. People around a designer are more than likely to say what they think the designer wants to hear. Logo designers should not completely disregard an advice or interpret in a biased manner when it is given by a non-designer but rather develop the skills to distinguish between the deconstructive and constructive advice. At all instances, designers should evaluate that the insights of the person critiquing his design can be worthy or not even if that person is a professional. However, it is worth mentioning that a designer’s logos are ultimately going to be judged by non-designers.
