The famous NBA team New Orleans Hornets has designed a new logo that has gathered immediate attention. This new logo will appear on all the promotional items of the team as well as on the uniforms of the team players as well. The design concept was created by the New Orleans designers and the apparel design was produced by Adidas. The main color of the logo is a blue shade. This sharp shade of blue has been used to make the logo more animated and attractive in terms of design. The main image if the logo is a bee that represents the team identity. The color combination includes blue, yellow and white as the main line color contributions. The name of the team is written along the image in the top and bottom sides. In the previous version of the logo, a lining effect was used in the background which has been removed in the new logo. The logo can be termed as better in relation to the improved color shades and the image design. The main difference between the two logo versions is that the outlining effect has been removed in the new logo. In the old logo with every image, an outline has been inserted to highlight the particular part of the logo. However in the new logo, the color shades have been brightened so the requirement of outlines does not exist any more. In overall terms, the new logo is more dynamic as well as eye catching as compared to the old logo.
