WEGMANS is a popular chain of supermarkets and recently it launched a new logo for further marketing and promotional campaigns. The logo consists of simple text written in black. No image is used in the logo as it is quite apparent. The text is simple but very attractive. Only one color has been used in the text. The new logo does relate to the new one to a certain extent. The first logo of WEGMANS was launched in the year 1930. The new logo is designed to improve the image of the company. This chain of stores is based in New York and takes its origin from the city as well. The font citation of the new logo is very impressive. Italics have been used to attract a greater amount of audience attention. Normally straight text is used in logos and the usage of italic text can be termed as unusual and exclusive. The text is a mixture of both upper case and lower case letters. In other words it can be said that the regular text form has been used. The logo has been launched in the year 2008. A negative factor for the logo is the usage of just one color. A blend could have been better option.
