3D logo design has been a new and emerging trend for many years. One of the challenges in making a good 3D logo design is that unlike illustrative and 2D company logos, they are not the same on paper and on display. In some cases this has made certain kinds of 3D logos impossible to make. One criticism of 3D logos is that although they are intriguing and attractive, they are not always effective in capturing attention, retaining it and effectively communicating the company’s theme or message. The solution seems to be something called the Organic effect and refers to making the logo perky without necessarily making it too intensive – that is keep it simple while adding the twist for a 3D design.
