HTML refers to Hyper Text Markup Language. It is a standard set by W3C and is the bedrock for most websites. Even though some newer sites are built almost entirely on Flash and Java, HTML as a language and standard remains the most popular choice for making websites. Hyper Text is made up of hyper links which permit visitors to move to and from pages by clicking through. It allows users to navigate easily through web pages and websites. HTML tags are the most popular way to classify and format text, such as bold, italic and font, font size and color.
It is composed of short pieces of codes that are part of a text file in tags, known as HTML tags. HTML tags play their role as separators as they help to classify and divide text into parts and to separate it from the HTML code. Another advantage is that HTML tags allows the addition of more things like table and also images to the web page. HTML has a lot of advantages from both aesthetic and functionality perspectives.
